Anti-Violence Benefit
Josh Pfannkuche is the brother of Sam from Imperative Reaction and the son of the wonderful promoters who put on our recent Nashville show on our recent US tour. A little less than a month ago, while he was riding a subway home by himself, Josh was approached by a group of individuals who proceeded to severely beat and rob him. The individuals were never caught, and Josh was left with extensive facial and dental injuries and an ever-mounting stack of medical bills. Since Josh, like an ever-increasing number of us in this country, is uninsured, he is in an undeniably tough situation. To help Josh pay his medical expenses, Sam and his parents are planning a big Anti-violence benefit in LA later this summer. The proceeds will go towards paying Josh's extensive medical expenses and a charitable donation to the National Center for Victims of Crime. I will post info on the event as it draws closer, but in the meantime, Sam has set up a site where anyone can help out by making a donation. Please take the time to visit the site and, if you can afford to do so, make a donation. What happened to Josh could happen to any of us, so please help out however you can.
